Ripped from a 12" vinyl white label single released on CBS Records (no cat. no) in 1987 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. A topical record in many ways, and yes you did read this as Bros ...and yes it was distributed by CBS! Tsk tsk chaps ...major label plagiarism and copyright abuse in an attempt to gain credibility for these little fake-baked shits ...I mean twins. The JAMs were totally right ...1987: What The Fuck?? I always felt sorry for Craig ;-)

I own a copy of this and I'm not ashamed to say I do love it as it is not only 'of its time but also representative that late 1980's period in dance music when sample-laden megamixes were abundant and skillfully executed without sounding contrived. Put aside your pop prejudices and just give it a listen!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Nowt wrong with a few pop prejudices. As those who knew me back then (and a few read these pages) will testify that I used to play this to death ....and even conjured up a few other "remixes" based around it. Thankfully those tapes are now long lost ;-)
