1000 Mexicans - The Last Pop Song
Ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Abstract Records (12 ABS 021) in 1984 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. I posted the 7" version of this many years ago and have been meaning to clean up my 12" since. Well here it is ...finally! Some hard-hitting post-punk from these crafty (and recently reformed) Mexicans. Fans of minimalist drum machines will especially love the three b-side tracks which have a wonderful demo feel, mixed in with some fine screeching sax in a similar vein to early ClockDVA. Enjoy!
