Shoot! Dispute - Gatgun
Ripped from a 7" vinyl single released on Zanzibar Records (ZAN 001) in 1985 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. A few have asked for re-rips of this so here it is in 24/48 flac.
Shoot! Dispute were a Guildford based pop-funk 5 piece formed by former Vapors bassist Steve smith. After two John Peel Radio One sessions in 1984 and a few gigs supporting local hero The Jam's Bruce Foxton on his solo tour, they released this superb catchy little tune on their own Zanzibar label.
From memory, the single was only available at gigs or at Guildford's original Collectors Records Shop. Another track, On To The Wheel, appeared on The Riverside Club compilation album Laughing All The Way To The Banks. Does anybody out there have recordings of the two Peel sessions? I'd love to hear them.
