Ripped from a vinyl album released on McQueen Records (MCQLP 2) in 1986 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. Trumpet laden indie-pop at its very best - The June Brides weren't even close to what The Brilliant Corners achieved on this their debut LP proper. The remainder of their early back catelogue is worth tracking down as well. They were from unfashionable Bristol rather than London or Manchester, and despite much affection from John Peel, The Brilliant Corners were one of the few great bands from the mid-eighties era to move on to true greatness.
