Alien Sex Fiend - The Legendary Batcave Tapes
Compiled from unreleased 1982 demo recordings and released on a compact disc album on Anagram Records (CDM GRAM 69) in 1993, presented here in high quality lossless flac audio.I don't have a copy for comparison purposes but many of these tracks were also on the rare 1982 debut self-released cassette Alien Sex Fiend. Very possibly one of the most prolific bands of their genre, the Sex Fiends still record and perform today ...keeping goth alive. Nik Fiend and chums do a great job of camping up goth to the highest degree, it was like The Cramps ....but with more British fuzz ....and much more mess! All things being well, I'll be preparing a vinyl mega-post of their pre-1986 output very soon.
