Originally released as a 7" vinyl single on Cherry Red Records (CHERRY 48) in 1982. Recreated here from high quality lossless digital flac files with three extra tracks. I mentioned this in an earlier post and unless you were lucky enough to own the original single, most of us had to rely on Pillows & Prayers. Reissued a couple of years ago complete with three extra tracks, Compulsion takes us back to a time when melancholy home-made synthpop seemed so personal and uniquely brilliant.
