Tonight's second seminal and essential vinyl album ripped to 24bits at 96000hz. Like Metal Box, when you listen closely to 20 Jazz Funk Greats you can hear how the band's influence was to cast far and wide. Not just to the industrial generation, but to a whole plethora of post-punk & synthpop bands, as well as numerous noise terrorists.
Ripped warts and all (it is not the greatest pressing), I adopted a manual click removal regime so as to maintain every detail of the original audio. The end result is superb, save for a few flaws in the vinyl which you will no doubt notice if you listen really closely.
