Temper Temper - The Switch

Many moons ago, I worked for a certain large music chain and still remember the rep from The Cartel attempting to sell-in this record. I think they had great hopes? I took just one copy for my small home counties chain store and even played it a few times instore. (I wasn't expecting the same response as the earlier JAMMs product).

It failed to shift, so I bought it myself!

File under "Would-be Indie dancefloor stomper" - but over five years too late! Hints of New Order and nice guitar bits but the lead singer has a highly annoying voice. The flip-side tracks are quite good, although Let's Swing sounds very Lexicon Of Love.

The Switch : ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Sheer Bravado Music (SB 2) via The Cartel in 1988.
