Pauline Murray And The Invisible Girls - Dream Sequences

The Invisible Girls were Martin Hannett, Robert Blamire, Steve Hopkins, Vini Reilly and Wayne Hussey, but I'm not sure Reilly and Hussey feature on this release. Pauline Murray was of course the former lead singer of Penetration.
Easily the best (and most commercial) track from the band's only album on Robert Stigwood's RSO label, Dream Sequence (One) is a catchy new wave pop song with an uplifting chorus and a busy Hannett production. The single was released independently on Illusive and would have been a hit had RSO released it.
Dream Sequence (Two) on the b-side has a demo feel, but is more likely a typical Hannett experimental piece with the backing track well down in the mix with plenty of delay, distortion, reverb and lots of charlie.

Dream Sequences : ripped from a 7" vinyl single released on Illusive Records (IVE 1) in 1980 to high quality lossless FLAC.
