God Said - Off The Plot

Ripped from a vinyl album released on Third Mind Records (TMLP 25) in 1988 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. This low-fi pop spin off from Beautiful Pea Green Boat would have been better suited to early Creation Records or even Sarah Records, but Third Mind licensed it from BPGB's Mr Slaughterhouse label. There is a little of that eighties vinyl phenomena inner groove distortion (aka bad mastering/pressing) on side one, but that shouldn't spoil most listeners enjoyment. The splendid Out Of Time was also a single. This post concludes our current run of Third Mind Records.

Ripped from a compact disc album released on Discordia (DISC 051) in 1995 to high quality lossless flac audio. Tracks originally recorded between 1987 and 1989, and released on a series of Third Mind Record products. Words fail me as to how the timeless and gorgeously sequenced synth-pop from this Edinburgh duo has never gained the respect and credit due.. These fourteen tracks really have stood the test of time and deserve to be heard by a much wider audience. I never acquired the original albums and singles, if anybody has them they would really make stunning 24-bit rips. There are plenty of potential favourites here for everybody. Enjoy!
