Throttling Back

Fini Tribe - Let The Tribe Grow
Ripped from a 12" vinyl EP released on Cathexis Recordings (CRF 611) in 1986 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. I posted the slightly different debut single by Fini Tribe a few weeks ago, so here now is their best known track, De Testimony often misnamed Let The Tribe Grow, or for Peel listeners it was the one with the bells on. Whilst the a-side is high quality industrial dance, the b-side tracks take us to a darker almost neo-folk territory. Things may be getting a little darker here for the next day or two......

Fini Tribe - Curling And Stretching
Ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Finiflex Records (FT 1001) in 1984 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio.  Moving away from electronica for a bit ....before they shed most of their line-up Edinburgh's techno beat pioneers Finitribe were actually a band called Fini Tribe turning out complex arty punk-funk. Here's their debut single which, errrr ....is a bit different to a lot of their later recordings. Hopefully a few of you won't have heard this and be pleasantly surprised.
