Theatre Of Hate - Do You Believe In The Westworld?
Ripped from a 7" vinyl single released on Burning Rome Records (BRR 2) in 1982 to high resolution 24-bit flac. I feel sorry for poor old Kirk Brandon, he made a living from music as the young pretender to The Clash, then courted controversy to such an extent it eventually it all turned on him to hit hard where it really hurts. The leading light behind some very fine work as Theatre of Hate, plus the two really good albums (the first two) as Spear Of Destiny, Brandon's fortunes began to wane after a deal with Virgin in 1988. Two regularly printed stories about Kirk (once darling of the NME) continued to haunt him - Kirk is/is not a Nazi, Kirk did/did not shag Boy George. Music is just so boring these days.
