Oh Yeah!

Yello - Oh Yeah
Ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Mercury Records (884 930-1) in 1986 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. Desperately seeking sales -  Yello's US record label plunder a dodgy teen movie soundtrack, a 1985 album track and obscure single b-side to fill the coffers to become what was likely Yello's most famous ever track.

Live At The Roxy

Yello - Live At The Roxy N.Y. Dec 83
Ripped from a 33 rpm single-sided 12" vinyl single released on Vertigo Records (822 262-1) in 1984 to high resolution 24-bit lossless flac audio. I recall back in my chain store days this was one of the best selling import singles as it was only ever available in Europe (back when Britain wasn't in Europe). Fifteen minutes of Yello live on stage at The Roxy in New York in December 1983. Enjoy!

Cha Cha Cha!

Yello - Pinball Cha Cha b/w Bostich
Ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Vertigo Records (6400 571) in 1981 to high resolution 24-bit lossless flac audio. Six minutes of sheer brilliance and madness - likely one of very few records to ever feature belching samples....it's a bloke thing! Bostich (N'est-Ce Pas) is pretty wonderful too.

Swiss Misses

Yello - Bimbo
Ripped from a 7" vinyl single released on Do It Records (DUN 11) in 1981 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. Swiss electro-nutters Yello have had more record labels than most other bands.... Here's their UK debut single licensed from American experimental label Ralphs Records.

You Gotta Say Yello

Yello - The New Mix In One Go
Crafty Swiss electropop by two eccentrics who still have to thank Ferris Bueller and a 1961 red Ferrari GT for filling their bank accounts. We all had copies of this didn't we? I bought the double vinyl shortly after release and this cd was one of my first digital purchases. I like Yello - they make great singles but their albums vary greatly in my opinion. My warped sense of humour would have loved to have seen Boris Blank and Dieter Meier doing Pinball Cha-Cha (complete with sampled belching) on Eurovision, but it just wasn't to be.

Ripped from a compact disc album released on Vertigo Records (826 7732) in 1986 to high quality lossless flac.
