Poppyfields - Alien
Something else from the Illuminated stable. The Poppyfields didn't hang about, just one four track EP in 1984 and then they were gone. Alien is a glam-tinged synthpop singalong whilst Candy is theatrical and pompous complete with lush John Barry-style strings - those who appreciated the work of Sudden Sway will find much to like about this EP.
