Pink Floyd - A Nice Pair
I have a healthy admiration of early Floyd (and their albums up until Obscured By Clouds), and after the recent Half Man Half Biscuit Careful With That Spliff, Eugene reference, I thought I would have a go at getting a clean rip of this 1973 compendium of the first two albums.
A bit like a Gilmour slidey-guitar solo (thankfully mostly missing here), I could meander for ages about these two albums but I won't. Two personal favourites are the silly but brilliant Bike and the spacey psychedelia of Remember A Day.
In a return to high resolution, I ripped at 24bits and then downsampled to 16bits for those preferring smaller file sizes. As a bonus, I also acquired a rip from an original mono pressing of Saucerful.
Ripped from a double vinyl album released on Harvest Records (SHDW 403) in 1973 to high resolution flac audio.
