In Conny's Garden

Eurythmics - In The Garden
Ripped from a vinyl album released on RCA Victor Records (PL 7006 - Canadian pressing) in 1981 to high resolution 24-bit lossless flac audio. Likely a very over looked album by most courtesy of a fresh rip from thehappyone. In The Garden was recorded at Conny Plank's studio in Colgne during the first half of 1981 with help from local "session" musicians Holger Czukay, Jaki Liebezeit, Markus Pirol Stockhausen (son of Karlheinz), Robert Görl and also Blondie drummer Clem Burke. This should be a big enough hint that sweet dreams were not made of this and the original concept was much euro-rhythmical than the hit laden synthpop duo which followed on later. There are plenty of great tracks worthy of mention, but your host has the motorik Belinda (a single from the album) on repeat right now at ESWA Towers. Enjoy!
