Ripped from a demo cassette self distributed in 1981 on Merciful Release to high quality lossless flac audio. A little snippet of Sisters' history. Originally circulated as a demo cassette by the band and then bootlegged widely in a plethora of formatia, here are those three very early Sisters Of Mercy demos for an abandoned second release and subsequently used for self promotion around Leeds in the early eighties.

The Sisters Of Mercy - Temple Of Love

I was never a Goth, but I did spend too many nights in cramped, hot, dirty and dubious nightclubs in Manchester basements between 1982 and 1984. I did appreciate that some of the so-called goth bands were turning out some good music. I'm very pleased how this rip has come out considering the age and wear on my copy of this single.
