Another album which evokes fond memories is Wrong Way Up. The intricate layers of electronica, strings and guitar mix it with clever vocal melodies sung by rock/avant stalwarts Brian Eno and John Cale. If you have never heard this before - you need to! Lay My Love, One Word and Spinning Away are the finest antidotes you will ever hear to the dizzy-druggy-baggy-indiepop fodder of the late eighties and early nineties. At very least this is a very grown up album with a very unique electronic edge.
