Originally released on a vinyl album on Epic Records (85567) in 1982. Ripped here from a compact disc reissue to high quality lossless flac. Surprising good synthpop from a band who were originally responsible for a number of very silly pop records. It's a pity they just didn't get the deserved recognition and reward for this, their most credible work. Without New Musik, there would possibly have been no new music.

After the new wave of the debut LP and original singles, New Musik's sound developed and matured beyond the silliness into highly credible and influential synthpop. Anywhere was a fine record, a head of its time, which deserves a good few listens and a lot more credit where due.

Ripped from a vinyl album released on GTO Records in 1980 (GTLP 041) to high resolution 24-bit lossless flac audio. I warned you this was coming! Actually it isn't that bad, visually New Musik were never going to stand the tests of time, and some of the hits, Living By Numbers, Straight Lines and the earlier featured This World Of Water do sound quite dated. Your friendly Blogmeister does still love the sentimental On Islands.
