Ripped from a compact disc album released on Play It Again Sam Records (BIAS 180 CD) in 1990 to high quality lossless flac audio. After a run of four or five fantastic singles, the Meat Beats gave us their first proper studio album. Regularly misinterpreted as industrial, these very British boys really leaned towards the influence of quality US heavy hip-hop bands such as Public Enemy, and in turn influenced the new generation of pseudo-industrial bands coming out of the USA and eventually British acts such as Prodigy and Underworld. Eventually it all went a bit bland as their direction steered to squelchy techno and dub-step, so for me, my interest waned and I purchased little else from their subsequent releases.

Ripped from a double album released on Sweatbox Records (SOX 040) in 1989 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio.  Not originally scheduled to be their debut long player, that was supposed to be Armed Audio Warfare, but the masters were destroyed in a fire. Two ginormous slabs of hard-hitting British white boy sample laden indie-hip hop from the boys who were once Perennial Divide. The mass market had to endure EMF, those of us who knew better were entertained by Meat Beat Manifesto and Renegade Soundwave.
