Pale Saints - The Comfort Of Madness
Ripped from a compact disc album released on 4AD Records (CAD 0002 CD) in 1990 to high quality lossless flac audio. During the plethora of americana, we Brits came up with Pale Saints and Spirea X. The Pale Saints from Leeds were born out of the post-C86 world, blending pleasant vocal harmonies with shoegazey indie-pop, to some limited success as it broke into the mainstream charts. The Comfort Of Madness should perhaps have faired better, as technically The Stone Roses had already been and .....err, gone! Nobody had told Spirea X it seems.
