The Horses Are On The Track

Big Audio Dynamite - The Bottom Line
A dance to the tune of economic decline! I doubt Mick Jones and his B.A.D. franchise over topped the original UK 12" version of The Bottom Line. The more common US remix pails into insignificance when compared, and I could never get into the subsequent singles, most of which impacted the UK charts. This radio unfriendly 8:45min pop dance single was one of the first British pop singles to feature sampling and scratching, post-Buffalo Gals. It's great fun and reminds me of many many house parties in my college days. It's also a rarely known fact that BAD was one of the only British acts to feature on Def Jam Records west of the pond. Go Ahead London.

Ripped from a well worn 12" vinyl single released on CBS Records (TA 6591) in 1985 to high quality lossless flac audio.
