Ripped from a 12" vinyl single released on Some Bizzare Records (BART 1) in 1985 to high resolution 24-bit flac audio. What better end to a day listening to old records that a bit of Neubauten remixed by Adrian Sherwood. I have posted this before, but this a new rip so please grab this and dump the old one.

I promised a lossless re-rip of this a while back, so here it is.Yü-Gung (from the excellent Halber Mensch album) remixed by On-U-Sound dub guru Adrian Sherwood. Blixa and the boys stir up a party with their powerful blend of deutsche experimentation and pounding industrial beats. Sherwood adds a little polish and a dance beat, so the whole thing becomes worthy entertainment for family and friends at any forthcoming summer barbecue! The splendid cover of the Nancy Sinatra standard Sand over on the b-side is rather good too.

Einstürzende Neubauten - Kalte Sterne EP

Seems like an appropriate moment for a re-post. I bought this double 7" gatefold EP at the original Piccadilly Records (when it was actually on Piccadilly) in Manchester in late 1983. They were playing Kalte Sterne in store and I'd never heard anything like it.Six months later, I watched Blixa Bargeld craft his magic as a "Caveman" with Nick Cave onstage at the Hacienda.

I can no master a quality rip from the vinyl due to heavy wear and tear, and it needs a spindle adapter as it has a cut-out juke box style centre - these tracks are nicked from the CD re-issue which, as the keen eared of you will note, was mastered from vinyl.

Originally released on a dbl 7" EP on ZickZack Records (ZZ 40) in 1981. Ripped here to high quality lossless FLAC.

I just had to follow Kalte Sterne with this gem. Yu-Gung (from the Halber Mensch album) remixed by On-U-Sound dub guru Adrian Sherwood. Great tune for annoying the neighbours!
