Funky in places, Richard H. Kirk shows us how to make a Cabds record without Mal, plenty of samples and a synth bass-line take the place of Mal, but all in all Kirk convinces the mind into hearing Cabaret Voltaire. Smart stuff!

Released as a double vinyl album on Doublevision Records (DVR 2) in 1983. Ripped here from a 1994 compact disc reissue to high quality lossless flac audio. Most of the tracks on Time High Fiction date back to 1979 Western Works sessions rather than the later beat driven works. Consequently this album is more a compilation of experiments over time rather than works of a specific period in RHK's recordings. This is remarkably accessible music in places and there is much to like, however those with a nervous disposition should best stay clear of the two Dead Relatives pieces.
