Techno Thuggery

Johnson Engineering Co - Unleash
My earliest recollection of the Johnsons was a tape passed to me whilst I worked in a Guildford record store around about 1987. I had always assumed they were a local band and very little is known (even these days), except that they had an affiliation with Portion Control, and produced some fine industrial techno beats. The album proper was to appear over a year later on 400 Blows' Concrete Productions label and was much harder sounding than the first tapes. Unleash is a fine record showcasing some fine sample heavy industrial techno foolishly referred to as EBM these days.

Ripped from a vinyl album released On Concrete Productions (CPRODLP 004) in 1988 to high quality lossless flac audio.
